Global Workforce Advisory is hiring an HR Manager to support a newly established technology company focused on software research and development in Singapore. The role is hands-on, establishing HR practices, managing Singapore employment matters, and partnering with stakeholders in China as the team grows to about 30 developers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on HRM experience including business partnering
• Startup experience from ground up is highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment law and MOM processes
• Experience in compensation, benefits, and performance management
• Ability to design HR policies and documentation
• Fluency in English; Chinese language skills are advantageous

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, recruitment, organisation development and people matters.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding as the Singapore team grows.
• Manage day-to-day HR operations in compliance with Singapore employment legislation and MOM requirements.
• Proactively manage employee relations matters and resolve disputes.
• Design and manage compensation structures, benefits and incentive schemes.
• Drive the performance management cycle with goals, evaluations and feedback.
• Coach line managers on people management and support HR team development.
• Independently develop HR policies, processes and documentation and lead culture initiatives.
• Support HR planning for future overseas expansion.
