Job summary

GLOBAL WORKFORCE ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced HR Manager to help build and lead a Singapore technology company focused on software research and development. You will establish HR practices and partner with China-based stakeholders to align people strategies with business goals.

You will own recruitment, HR operations, and compliance with MOM, while designing compensation structures and driving performance management as the team scales from its initial setup to about 30 developers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HRM experience in Singapore.
• Experience in a startup from ground up is highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation, MOM processes.
• Experience in compensation and benefits, performance management and developing HR policies.
• Ability to work independently and build practical HR processes in a growing business.
• Strong recruitment capability; experience hiring for technology or software roles is an advantage.
• Ability to speak, read and write English and Chinese to communicate with stakeholders in China.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, recruitment, organization development and people matters.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding as the Singapore team grows.
• Manage day-to-day HR operations in compliance with Singapore employment law and MOM requirements, including attendance, leave, and payroll policies.
• Proactively manage employee relations and help resolve disputes.
• Design and manage compensation structures, benefits, salary reviews and bonus schemes.
• Drive performance management, goal setting, evaluations, feedback and improvement plans.
• Coach line managers on people management and support HR team development.
• Independently develop HR policies, processes and documentation to strengthen culture and engagement.
• Support HR planning for future overseas expansion.
