Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Architect to define platform strategy and technical standards. You will lead the design of scalable infrastructure platforms and mentor senior engineers. The ideal candidate has 8–15 years of engineering experience, focuses on cloud architecture and Kubernetes, and holds relevant certifications. This role requires advanced knowledge of Terraform and automation governance, ensuring high-availability and resilience in platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Certifications preferred: Azure/AWS Architect, Kubernetes (CKA/CKA+), Terraform Expert, SRE/DevOps certifications.
• 8–15 years engineering experience with strong architecture and platform-design exposure.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain systems architecture, platform roadmap, and engineering standards.
• Develop and govern IaC frameworks (Terraform modules, GitOps practices).
• Architect resilience, high-availability, failover and DR patterns.
• Design and optimise large-scale Kubernetes and cloud platform architectures.
• Mentor senior engineers and lead systemic failure resolution.

About the Role

This is a senior architect-level role responsible for defining platform strategy, technical standards, automation governance, and system-level architecture. Serves as the highest technical escalation point and leads the design of resilient, scalable infrastructure platforms.

Key Responsibilities
