Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking an IT System Engineer for a rotational shift role. The successful candidate will provide system support, execute changes, and handle ticket resolutions with a focus on troubleshooting hardware and software failures. Candidates should have a minimum NITEC/Diploma and 4-8 years of relevant experience, especially in Microsoft and RedHat Linux environments. This is a 12-month renewable contract with a salary package ranging from $6,500 to $11,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC/Diploma with at least 4-8 years of experience in SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR.
• Proficient in Microsoft software & RedHat Linux Operating systems.
• Strong understanding of network, firewall, storage and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Operating Systems Migration and related support.
• Support and troubleshoot hardware and software failures.
• Provide accurate documentation in IT Service Management Tool.
• Close assigned incidents within SLA.
• Provide documentation in IT Service Management Tool.

Perform system support, execute change records, ticket handling, problem solving, remote access and patching, end of support migrations

Job Description

· Working Location: EAST

· Working Hours: 9hrs rotational shift

· Salary Package: $6500 - $1100

· Duration: 12 Month Contract (Subject to Renewable)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in Operating Systems Migration and related support.
• End of Support Operating System Migration RHEL & Windows.
• Support and troubleshooting which includes diagnosis of hardware and software failures or problems.
• Responsible for correcting all problems associated to supported list of End User Equipment and Software.
• Installation of software/application.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation in IT Service Management Tool.
• Closing all assigned and resolved Incidents; focus on ticket resolution within SLA.
• Synchronizing application settings to environment requirement.
• Relocation of computer devices and peripherals.
• Setting up of the end users profiles for applications.
• Proactive update and follow up to end users.
• Guide end user on required applicable tasks
• Other adhoc task as assigned.
