Job summary

OPTO PRECISION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Supply Chain Support Executive in Singapore to procure materials, coordinate logistics, manage inventory, and support cost-effective initiatives for efficient operations.

You will generate POs, maintain supplier databases, perform GRN, and work with suppliers on quality and delivery, while assisting planning and audits.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent, or

Responsibilities

• Generating PO to supplier with PRF approval
• Maintaining and updating supplier’s master database
• Perform GRN upon receipt of supplier’s DO
• Resolving with supplier on quality issues
• Work with suppliers and vendors for cost reduction initiative ensuring goods and services meet quality standards.
• Reconciliation of supplier’s invoices [other than substrates/raw material] for month end invoice payment
• Upkeep of documents record before disposal
• Coordinate external delivery arrangement with APP Systems Logistics team
• Monitor consumables safety stock and perform re-ordering needs
• Assist the Logistics in-charge with mid-year and year end Management Review Meeting data consolidation
• Support annual stock-take and audit exercise
• Assist the Planner/Buyer to support production needs for Inventory/Material planning and control
• Monitor suppliers On Time Delivery (OTD) as well as providing Suppliers Performance [Quality & Delivery] update to suppliers
• Assist with project coordination and support on logistical aspect ie equipment consignment and return
• Any other tasks as assigned from time to time

What You Must Have

• Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent, or

• Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in related fields i.e. logistics, supply chain, warehousing or freight industry

What Nice To Have

• Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email)

• Some hands-on experience with ERP system or other relevant system
