Job summary

UNISEARCH SERVICES PTE. LTD. is hiring a procurement professional in Singapore to manage end-to-end purchasing, from sourcing to delivery follow-ups.

You will review material requirements, negotiate with suppliers, and coordinate with planning to meet production schedules. The role involves ERP-driven material planning, inventory control, and cost-reduction initiatives, with emphasis on supplier performance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree holder in Supply Chain Management with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of purchasing process including sourcing, RFQ, negotiation, shipping and delivery follow-ups.
• Review and purchase materials and components driven by MRP to meet production schedules.
• Expedite materials with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with supply chain planning and suppliers to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory and stocking rules as set by management.
• Liaise with logistics for shipment arrangements and customs declarations.
• Maintain supplier performance in quality, delivery, and inventory control.
• Process purchasing docs (vendor codes, PO/DO/invoice) for Finance.
• Handle return and non-conforming units (RMA/NCT) with suppliers.
• Execute cost reduction plans and update weekly/monthly reports.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of purchasing process (Sourcing, RFQ, negotiation, shipping and follow up on deliveries)


• Review and purchase materials, components and equipment as drive by MRP (Material Require Planning)


• Review and expedite of materials with vendor to meet production schedule


• Coordinate with supply chain planning and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials/ components to achieve maximum customer satisfaction


• Responsible for inventory management, review and execute stocking rules preset by management periodically


• Liaising with logistics company for shipment arrangement, shipment status and custom declaration


• Managing suppliers to meet objectives in area of quality, delivery fulfilment and inventory control


• Processing of documentation on purchasing activities (vendor code set up, matching and submission of PO/DN/invoice to Finance)


• Handling of RMA/NCT units to suppliers


• Execute cost reduction plan


• Update weekly/monthly reports timely

Requirements:

• Diploma/ degree holder in Supply Chain Management


• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience / relevant industries


• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Office


• Independent and proactive


• SAP knowledge is an added advantage


• Able to analyze bill of materials (BOM)
