Reporting to the Solution Delivery Manager, the Success Factors Business Analyst focuses on analysing, re‑engineering and streamlining business processes to drive operational efficiency and organisational effectiveness. You’ll work side‑by‑side with end‑users, solution delivery teams and technical specialists to ensure solutions are not just delivered but embraced.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong trust‑based relationships with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet agreed business outcomes and deliver measurable value.
• Act as a consultant and advisor providing global business‑process guidance and advice on core and supporting systems.
• Provide expert technical and process insights to shape solution options and maximise return on investment.
• Communicate insights, recommendations and plans clearly to cross‑functional teams and leadership.
• Support development of business cases that clearly articulate value benefits and impacts.
• Assist in the planning, design and development of new applications and enhancements to existing applications or processes.
• Undertake research and analysis on behalf of the business unit to ensure all solution opportunities are understood and factored.
• Assess feasibility of requested changes and enhancements, gather and analyse data and document clear statements of requirement.
• Perform cost‑benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in the decision‑making process.
• Work with the relevant business and technical participants to translate requirements into functional and/or technical specifications and configuration documents.
• Drive greater utilisation and business value from core applications across Zespri.
• Actively work to simplify the application landscape and reduce unnecessary customisation, lowering cost and complexity.
• Monitor, review and assess application effectiveness; recommend strategies to improve performance, usability and ROI.

Ko wai koe Who are you

• 3 years of experience with functional consulting, designing, implementing or supporting (full life cycle) SuccessFactors.
• Strong ability to analyse user requirements and design software applications according to requirements.
• Strong oral and written presentation skills (Business Cases, Specifications etc.) across multiple levels of the organisation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to empathise with user business needs.
• Strong understanding of the different SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile etc.) and the ability to work in any of the respective approaches.
• Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles and practices.
• ERP and/or CRM Business Analyst experience ideally with an SAP or Microsoft background.
• Experience in the delivery of Cloud‑Based Solutions (e.g. Success Factors) and other non‑SAP best‑of‑breed solutions.
