Job summary

Tampines North Primary School is seeking a dedicated service staff member to support student conduct and well-being. The role emphasizes building rapport with students, de-escalation, and restorative follow-up under school procedures.

You will supervise students, document observations, coordinate with parents and staff, and stay informed about youth trends to safeguard confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• Recognised Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in education, youth work, community services or other people-facing roles is advantageous.
• Ability to engage children/youth with professional boundaries.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to document observations and collaborate with students, parents and staff.
• Discretion with confidential information and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with students and provide timely guidance and follow-up.
• Assist with student conduct and behavioural incidents, including de-escalation and restorative follow-up.
• Supervise students, observe interactions and report safety or wellbeing concerns promptly.
• Coordinate student cases with staff and contacting parents as directed.
• Maintain accurate, timely records of incidents, observations and follow-up actions.
• Keep abreast of youth, behavioural and online trends and implications for student conduct and safety.
• Safeguard confidential student, family and school information; follow policies and boundaries.
• Undertake other student-management duties as assigned and adapt to calendar and priorities.
