Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee engineering works, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate should possess at least a diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and have a minimum of 3 years of coordinated experience, ideally in hospital projects. Proficiency in structural specifications is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years structural coordinator experience.
• Preferably with experience in hospital projects.
• Good knowledge of structural specifications & requirements.

• Coordinate & liaise with consultant, subcontractor, and other trades.
• Assist in project coordination and oversee all structural / civil works on site.
• Attend meetings and site walks during the construction phase.
• Keep track of test reports and compliance with standards.
• Document control and compilation in accordance with company ISO standards.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works


• Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions


• Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities


• To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues


• To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural / civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings


• Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings (not withstanding to minutes down the meeting if necessary) and site walks during the construction phase of project


• Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme


• Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering / Building


• Min 3 years structural coordinator experience


• Preferably with experience in hospital projects


• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
