Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in merchandising or retail operations.
• Strong merchandising, buying, and inventory management capabilities.

• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, stock, and market data.
• Good organizational and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute merchandising and sales strategies to achieve department targets.
• Manage buying budgets, merchandise mix, inventory levels, and space planning.
• Analyze market trends, consumer demand, and competitor activities to advise assortment and suppliers.
• Strengthen online store performance by integrating with physical store operations.
• Plan and manage sourcing, procurement systems, and overseas buying schedules.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms and execute vendor programs.
• Oversee day-to-day department operations, sales performance, and cost control.
• Prepare and analyze sales, profit, stock, and budget reports.
• Plan and execute advertising, promotions, and merchandising displays.
• Leverage digital marketing to support growth for both physical and online stores.
• Lead, motivate, and develop staff through manpower planning and performance management.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and support staff development.
• Ensure high standards of customer service, resolve complaints, and gather feedback for improvements.
• Establish and enhance operational systems, merchandise assortment, and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies, confidentiality, and safety regulations.
