Job summary

Castlery in Singapore is seeking a Senior Regional Demand Planner to translate market insights into accurate forecasts and inventory plans across international markets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Demand Planning or related analytical role within retail, ecommerce or a consumer business.
• Strong commercial instincts and numerical aptitude with the ability to translate insights into recommendations.
• Strong category mindset with understanding of assortment planning, product lifecycle, launches, pricing and promotions.
• Strong problem-solving skills across datasets and metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Highly flexible and adaptable in a fast-moving environment.
• Advanced Excel; experience with forecasting, BI or planning tools is advantageous.
• Furniture/homewares retail experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own SKU-level demand forecasting across the active assortment on a rolling 9 to 12-month basis, considering sales trends, seasonality, marketing activity, product launches and inventory availability.
• Review category and SKU performance to identify growth opportunities, risks and demand shifts using sales data, feedback, market trends and benchmarks.
• Partner with Category Planning to shape assortment strategy, launches, lifecycle management and discontinuations.
• Develop forecasts for new product launches and track post-launch performance against targets.
• Review pricing performance and identify pricing opportunities to support recommendations.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to understand campaigns and promotions and incorporate into forecasts.
• Lead demand inputs during monthly S&OP, highlighting risks and opportunities and actions.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement and Buying to manage inventory flow and stock availability.
• Work with BI to continuously improve forecasting methods and reporting.
