Job summary

SEALED AIR (SINGAPORE) PTE. LIMITED is seeking a Demand and Supply Planner to manage demand planning, forecasting, and inventory control. You will analyze demand changes to ensure forecast accuracy and optimal stock levels, concentrating on carry over items in the initial phase.

The role involves generating monthly forecasting models, conducting forecast analyses, and coordinating with Merchandising and Production to align targets and ensure service levels.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, statistics, mathematics, engineering or related fields.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in supply chain, scheduling, forecasting and planning.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, SAP/ERP and statistical software packages.
• Knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools and processes across sales, marketing, operations, finance, manufacturing.
• Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics.
• Collaborative skills in resolving long/short inventory positions.

Responsibilities

• Design and generate monthly statistical forecasting models.
• Conduct current and future forecasting analysis based on best practices.
• Measure the forecast accuracy.
• Control inventory targets approved by management to secure right coverage.
• Assemble and analyze data to create sales forecasts by channel.
• Make recommendations on inventory target adjustments.
• Organize forecast and inventory planning meetings with Merchandising.
• Produce orders of carry over items for production inputs.
• Maintain documentation and SOPs for demand planning processes.
• Prepare reports communicating forecast and inventory measurements.
• Develop systems to meet service levels and inventory objectives.
• Interact with Retail and Merchandising to reflect SKU demand changes.
