Job summary

smith & nephew asia pacific pte. limited in Singapore is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to develop and execute demand plans across two clusters, collaborating with supply chain, sales, marketing and in‑country customer support to meet sales and service objectives.

You will manage long‑range forecasts using Maestro by Kinaxis, compare with market insights, publish plans, and work with finance to align the demand plan with the financial plan, aiming for high forecast accuracy and inventory

Qualifications

• BA/BS college degree or its equivalent / relevant experience.
• Kinaxis learning platform education or significant Maestro experience.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, AXAPTA).
• Minimum five years’ experience in a similar demand planning/forecasting role.

Responsibilities

• Using Maestro by Kinaxis and SIOP dashboards to develop a cluster planning process with KPIs and defined roles.
• Analyse historical demand trends and events, deciding what to include in future plans.
• Understand sales strategy to weight demand accuracy efforts appropriately.
• Develop long-range 36-month demand forecasts across channels (revenue, non-revenue, capex).
• Facilitate monthly reviews with marketing, commercial and finance to reach consensus before publishing.
• Maintain alignment between demand plan and financial plan, highlighting assumptions and exceptions.
• Provide insights to supply planning and assess impact on service levels and inventory.
• Achieve planning KPI targets (forecast accuracy, forecast bias, FVA).
• Support Integrated Business Planning processes and regional planning leadership.
