Job summary

Adecco is partnering with a global FMCG client to recruit a Senior Regional Demand Planning Specialist in Singapore. The role oversees demand and sales planning across multiple markets, coordinating with commercial, supply chain and operations teams to forecast shipments, monitor inventory, and guide supply allocations.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning functions such as Production Planning, S&OP, Logistics or Sales Planning within FMCG industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with SAP, APO, or similar planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of annual budgets and quarterly planning cycles, including demand plans and sales targets, in alignment with regional and global objectives.
• Build and maintain a robust weekly shipment forecast, ensuring actual sales and shipments stay on track with the plan.
• Prepare dashboards and reports highlighting sales, shipment, and inventory trends to inform decisions across Commercial, Finance, and Operations.
• Monitor inventory health with the commercial team and address slow-moving or at-risk stock to minimize waste or service risk.
• Identify portfolio opportunities to create value by reallocating surplus production, filling demand gaps, or improving SKU productivity.
• Collaborate with market stakeholders to manage planning trade-offs and balance regional resource allocation.
• Deliver ad hoc analyses, business cases, and scenario planning to support strategic decisions.
• Serve as liaison between commercial teams and internal stakeholders to reflect local market dynamics in global planning.
