Job summary

Government Technology Agency is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade data platforms for GeBIZ X. You will drive data architecture, performance, and governance while enabling AI-enabled capabilities and advanced analytics for public sector use.

Role requires strong technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to deliver data-driven solutions across product, engineering, policy, and business teams. 2-year fixed-term contract is noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering.
• Proven experience delivering data platforms or products in large-scale, enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms to support analytics and product use cases.
• Engage stakeholders to understand business challenges and refine data-driven opportunities.
• Develop data models and architectures to support complex processes and reporting needs.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes and ensure data quality, reliability, and governance.
• Lead data initiatives with product teams and mentor junior engineers.
