Job summary

GovTech is embedding you in the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority's (ACRA) team to help develop the Enterprise Data Hub (EDH), a centralised platform enabling agencies to access, share, and derive value from data in a secure way. The role is to architect and build data infrastructure shaping how government data is shared for years to come.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Data Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years in data architecture and engineering with large-scale project delivery.
• 3–5 years with AWS including CloudWatch and Glue.
• 3–5 years data modelling, data access, data lakes/warehouses.
• 2–4 years hands-on with Databricks including Lakehouse, pipelines, SQL analytics.
• Experience with Unity Catalog, access control, lineage, orchestration; governance tooling familiarity.
• Certification in data engineering preferred; Databricks certs a plus.
• 2–4 years REST APIs and web protocols.
• Strong analytical thinking and leadership for mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build moderately complex data systems and storage solutions.
• Architect robust pipelines using ETL/ELT, streaming, CDC, queues.
• Govern schema design and data integrations across source systems.
• Implement DataOps with automated deployments, monitoring, observability.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate across teams on architecture reviews.
• Ensure data privacy, governance, quality, security and compliance.
