Job summary

DBS Asia Hub in Singapore is seeking a Senior Associate/AVP for SRE Operate within the Technology group. The role centers on owning the first line of defense for production incidents, executing recovery procedures, and ensuring alerts are handled within defined SLAs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in production operations, solid Linux/Unix, database, middleware or cloud knowledge, and a strong ITSM background. A shift/on-call rotation is expected to support critical services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in application or production support.
• Experience supporting mission-critical applications in an enterprise environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, or on-call rotations.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix, databases, middleware, or cloud technologies.
• Strong ITSM knowledge: Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first line of support for production incidents and service disruptions.
• Execute recovery procedures through SOPs, runbooks, and automated tools.
• Ensure operational alerts/incidents are acknowledged and acted upon within SLAs.
• Participate in major incident management to minimise business impact.
• Contribute to governance, risk controls, and continuous improvement.
