Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an AVP, L2 Production Support Engineering to deliver high-quality production support for mission-critical Transaction Banking platforms.

You will lead incident management, perform RCA, and drive automation and observability improvements across cross-functional teams. The role requires a degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience in production or platform operations, with strong Unix/Linux, SQL, and automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting mission-critical banking applications in financial services.
• Strong Unix/Linux, SQL databases (Oracle, MariaDB), shell scripting, and application troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with automation, DevOps tooling, and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality L2 production support for mission-critical Transaction Banking platforms.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
• Drive automation, observability, and SRE practices to improve service stability.
• Coordinate disaster recovery exercises and business continuity activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.
