Job summary

A leading children's hospital in Singapore is seeking a qualified Speech Language Therapist to specialise in paediatric caseloads (0-18 years) within both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will be responsible for assessing and managing communication and swallowing disorders in children, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and supporting educational initiatives. Applicants should possess a relevant degree and interpersonal skills, with experience in paediatrics being advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Entry Level Master's in Speech Language Therapy or its equivalent.
  • Experience in paediatric speech and language therapy is an asset.
  • Experience in dysphagia assessment and intervention in adults or paediatrics will be an added advantage.

You will specialise in paediatric caseloads (0-18 years of age) in the inpatient and outpatient setting.You will assess and manage communication and swallowing disorders in paediatrics, and evaluate and shape assessment and management practices. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care, provide education to patients, caregivers and other healthcare professionals, as well as engage in research activities. Other job duties include, involved in managing daily operations and department resources, and contribute towards staffdevelopment.You will also be involved in implementing the department’s initiatives and programmes.
