Job summary

NetApp Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Solutions Engineer in its Sales Function to provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex storage solutions. You will utilise your technical expertise and our data storage portfolio to address customers' needs and deliver results, expanding our presence with business partners.

You will deliver technical demonstrations, design tailored storage solutions (NAS, SAN, Object Storage) for on-premise or hybrid environments,

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales for storage solutions.
• Ability to design tailored storage solutions from customer needs.
• Experience with on-premise and hybrid storage architectures.
• Experience with ROI/TCO analysis.
• Proven ability to build PoC and rapid prototypes.

Job description

As a Solutions Engineer in NetApp's Sales Function, you will primarily provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. You will utilise your technical expertise and our cutting-edge data storage portfolio to address customers' technical needs and deliver successful business results, focusing on expanding our presence within existing and new clients together with business partners.

• Leverage in-depth product knowledge to deliver technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations to sales staff and customers
• Collaborate with sales staff to assess customer needs, design tailored storage solutions, and prepare detailed product specifications for implementation
• Design and architect on-premise or hybrid storage systems with strong knowledge ofNAS, SAN, and Object Storage, including enterprise andCloud Servicesenvironments
• Build proof-of-concept applications and rapid prototypes to demonstrate solution feasibility to clients
• Provide consultation, product capability assessments, andROI/TCOanalysis to articulate the competitive advantages ofNetApp storage solutions
• Deliver deep expertise across theStorage and Data Management vendor ecosystem, including prior experience withbackup solutions
• Collaborate with client executives and partner sales teams to develop strategies that drive customer opportunities and advise on the utilization of broader technical resources
