Job summary

NetApp, Inc. seeks a Solutions Engineer in Singapore to align our technical strategy with clients' long-term goals. You will coordinate with executives and leverage NetApp's portfolio to tackle business and IT challenges across stakeholders.

In this pre-sales role, deliver technical expertise, design tailored storage solutions (NAS/SAN/Object Storage), build PoCs, and run ROI/TCO analyses to show competitive advantages. A hybrid work environment and deep storage experience are required.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in storage product and services.
• Experience as Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Architect, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Architect on storage technologies.
• Preferred knowledge in Cloud, Storage, AI/ML, Database, Microservices, Enterprise Applications or DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers and sales staff.
• Collaborate with sales to assess customer needs, design tailored storage solutions, and prepare detailed product specifications for implementation.
• Design and architect on-premise or hybrid storage systems with NAS, SAN, and Object Storage, including enterprise and Cloud Services environments.
• Build proof-of-concept applications and rapid prototypes to demonstrate solution feasibility to clients.
• Provide ROI/TCO analyses to articulate the competitive advantages of NetApp storage solutions.
• Deliver expertise across the Storage and Data Management ecosystem, including backup solutions.
• Collaborate with client executives and partner sales teams to develop strategies that drive customer opportunities and advise on resource utilization.
