Job summary

The EDGE Contracting Services Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Software Test Manager in Singapore to lead QA for innovative projects. You will define robust testing strategies and oversee manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality, high-performance applications.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT, 4+ years in testing with 2+ years in leadership, and hands-on experience with JIRA, TestRail, Tosca and Selenium. This is a 1-year contract with renewal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in software testing, including 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and automation tools (Tosca, Selenium).
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams while fostering collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities

Software Test Manager - Singapore

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Test Managerto lead and drive the quality assurance processes for innovative projects. In this role, you will define and implement robust testing strategies to ensure that the applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Planning:
  Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for new and existing applications.
  Design test approaches, plans, cases, and scripts based on requirements and specifications.
• Execution & Oversight:
  Oversee manual and automated testing processes to ensure thorough coverage of application functionalities.
  Collaborate with business teams to coordinate and execute user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Defect Management:
  Work closely with development teams and business analysts to troubleshoot and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  Monitor testing progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders on test results, defects, risks, and issues.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Research and implement new tools and techniques to enhance testing methodologies.
  Ensure compliance with industry best practices for quality assurance and testing.
• Leadership & Collaboration:
  Lead and mentor the testing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  Facilitate effective communication between the testing team and other departments to promote a quality-first mindset.

An Ideal Candidate:

This is a 1 year contract to start, renewable and convertible to permanent.
