Job summary

Maestro HR in Singapore seeks a Senior Test Lead to devise comprehensive test strategies, guide testers, and ensure software quality across usability, performance, and reliability. You will collaborate with clients to address feedback and mentor junior staff, while developing test documentation and advancing automation.

The role requires 5+ years in software testing with leadership experience, a CS/CE degree (advanced degree preferred), and strong SQL/database testing knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience with at least 2 years in leadership/supervisory roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proficiency with virtual machines and both Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of software test design principles and testing methodologies.
• Extensive experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Able to think creatively and analytically to develop comprehensive test strategies and scenarios.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with SQL and database testing concepts is preferred.
• Proven track record of leading successful testing efforts for complex software projects.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Available to start immediately or on short notice (2 weeks).
• 5-day work week in AMK area.

Responsibilities

• Capable of devising Test Strategies and generate Master/ATP/ATPr.
• Lead software testers to execute test strategies and ATP/ATPr.
• Write, execute, and oversee tests on usability, functionality, performance, load testing and reliability.
• Analyse test results to identify errors, bugs, and reliability issues.
• Log testing results and collaborate with developers to fix issues.
• Interact with clients to understand requirements and feedback, ensuring they’re addressed.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers.
• Develop and maintain test documentation (test cases, scripts, reports).
• Implement and manage automated testing processes to improve efficiency.
• Participate in project planning and requirement analysis for test coverage.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
