Job summary

RMA CONTRACTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Software Test Engineer to drive end-to-end software testing and test automation across the development lifecycle.

The role focuses on software quality, test efficiency, and automated testing within DevSecOps environments. You will manage test planning, execution, and defect management, perform functional/integration/UAT/ performance tests, and develop automated solutions using scripting and programming languages.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software testing and test automation.
• Minimum 3 years of testing experience on Windows OS.
• Experience with Unix/Linux, embedded systems, or cloud-based testing is an advantage.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively; software testing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end testing, including test planning, requirements analysis, test case design, execution, and defect management.

• Collaborate with stakeholders on test reviews and quality assurance and prepare test documentation and user guides.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in test automation, scripting/programming, API, performance and security testing.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps/CI/CD tools such as Jira, Xray, Confluence and GitLab CI/CD, with knowledge of microservices and API security testing.
