Job summary

TESCOM (SINGAPORE) SOFTWARE SYSTEMS TESTING PTE LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Software Test Engineer with 2-5 years of manual testing experience to contribute to test design and execution. You will collaborate with developers and project teams to ensure software quality and timely delivery.

The role covers test planning, execution, defect tracking, and supporting UAT activities, with opportunities to liaise with external interfaces and improve testing processes within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Experience in JIRA.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Understand business and system requirements and translate them into test specifications.
• Participate in test planning, monitoring, analysis, design, implementation, execution and completion.
• Coordinate with external interfacing parties to establish test deliverables.
• Perform functional, regression and defect verification testing.
• Assist project/technical managers in leading acceptance tests (internal and external).
• Track issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Support UAT activities on-site when required.
