Job summary

Hudson Singapore is seeking a Senior QA / Test Automation Engineer to elevate quality discipline and automation across critical systems in Singapore. This hands-on role requires building automation frameworks, executing both manual and automated testing, and mentoring junior QA engineers.

You will design tests for web, API, and applications, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and communicate risks clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of QA experience with manual and automation testing.
• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST frameworks.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data validation.
• Based in Singapore with relevant local experience.

Our client is a global organization building a new Global Engineering Organization (GEO) to strengthen internal software delivery, improve production ownership, and build long-term engineering capability. They are now looking to hire a Senior QA / Test Automation Engineer to build and enhance quality discipline, automation capability, and release confidence across business-critical systems. This is a hands-on QA role based in Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across web, API, and application platforms
• Execute manual, exploratory, regression, and integration testing where needed
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks and reusable test utilities
• Define regression strategies for business-critical systems
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and risks
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and validation checklists
• Track and manage defects through tools such as Azure DevOps
• Verify fixes, assess regression impact, and support release readiness
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test failures and identify root causes
• Support UAT cycles with structured test planning and validation
• Communicate quality risks and coverage gaps clearly
• Mentor junior QA engineers and support QA best practices

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5+ years experience in QA with both manual and automation testing
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
