• Update roadmap to meet future product/business needs and infrastructure requirements.
• Provide long-term technical plan.
• Mentoring and guiding engineers in regarding their performance and professional growth.
• Develop quality, reliability, and security strategies.
• Identify worthwhile engineering initiatives.
• Introduce practices and tools for a strong engineering culture and maximize engineering effectiveness and impact.
• Recruitment especially for more senior roles.

Requirements

• Experience with large, high-availability software systems.
• Hands-on with modern full-stack web application technologies (Next.Js/React.js on the frontend and Java/TypeScript on the backend)
• 5 years experience managing a team of at least 5 direct reports.
