Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and client-focused Functional Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV) and a strong understanding of business processes. You’ll work closely with clients to gather requirements, configure the system, and ensure successful deployment and user adoption.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead or support Business Central implementations, upgrades, and support projects.
· Work directly with clients to understand their business processes and requirements.
· Perform fit-gap analysis and translate business needs into functional specifications.
· Configure Business Central modules including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Jobs, Manufacturing, and Warehousing (as applicable).
· Conduct data migration planning and execution.
· Develop and deliver functional documentation, training materials, and end-user training.
· Assist with testing, issue resolution, and go-live support.
· Collaborate closely with technical consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
· Stay current on Business Central updates and Microsoft ecosystem innovations.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
· Deep understanding of one or more of the following: Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Project Management modules.
· Strong business analysis and process mapping skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Experience in full lifecycle ERP implementations (at least 2).
· Proficiency in writing functional specs and training documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
· Microsoft Certifications in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
· Experience with Jet Reports, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
