Job Description - SMM Program Manager - Pharmaceutical (180001SP)
Main Objective / Context
As a Program Manager on our North American team you will act as a lead within the program management team and incorporate the CWT value proposition. This position is the primary liaison between the client and CWT on strategic M & E initiatives including continuous client savings improvements, driving process efficiencies and standards, meeting effectiveness, and other strategic projects to drive maturity within the Strategic Meetings Management programs.
Responsibilities
- Strategic ownership of account(s)
- Develop a detailed understanding of the client’s specific corporate objectives, philosophy, and business drivers by conducting thorough company research. In collaboration with the client, create and execute a business plan incorporating the CWT 8 Key levers to serve as the roadmap for delivering proactive solutions for their strategic meetings management programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all key account contacts both with the client and internally within CWT Meetings & Events.
- Ownership of Service Level Agreements/Scorecard metrics and supporting strategies.
- Ownership of scheduled account reviews to client’s senior management, including financial statements, strategy progress, program trends, benchmarking data, gap analysis, and improvement targets.
- Work closely with client leadership to design and develop strategic initiatives supporting the advancement of the client’s SMM program.
- Collaborate with Business Unit leaders and clients to develop and administer short and long‑term business plans and other key strategies for program development and maturity.
- Ensure effective execution of account/supplier agreement specifics.
- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships as they relate to the client’s business.
- Ensure contingency plans are in place to effectively manage crisis situations and support business continuity.
- Ensure that quality processes and tools are incorporated into all daily activities to drive process efficiencies and standardization.
- Key accountability to partner with operations for mutual client success.
- Participate in client implementations and expansions, including gap analysis, resource management and acquisition, coordination of internal implementation team members, and timely program delivery.
- Drive proactive stakeholder management/change management resulting in increased adoption of services and strategies.
- Liaise with internal team resources to coordinate the strategic planning, client management, consulting deliverables, and innovative analytical roles for client delivery.
- Monitor alignment between client pro‑forma and actual results based on original assumptions for volumes, expenses, resource alignment, etc.
- Track and communicate to the client all service and cost saving/cost avoidance results performance against objectives.
- Develop and support client communication strategies to advance their SMM program and drive continuous focus on stakeholder management.
- Accountable for identifying, communicating, and where appropriate, implementing potential incremental business opportunities for CWT within the client base (travel, CWT Vacation Club, new divisions, international offices).
- Foster and support positive team dynamics within the other solutions areas of business intelligence/analytics and SMM consultative solutions.
