A reputable construction company in Singapore is looking for a Site Supervisor to assist the Site Engineer in coordinating with sub-contractors and workers on site. The role entails ensuring compliance with specifications and quality requirements while managing safety provisions. The ideal candidate should have 3 - 5 years of relevant experience and familiarity with building projects. Key tasks include overseeing work progress, monitoring quality, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of Building and/or Civil Engineering experience.
• Familiarity with relevant drawings, specifications, and details.
• Completed at least 1 building project.

Responsibilities

• Check and study drawings before disseminating information.
• Coordinate and monitor progress and quality of workmanship.

Job description

The Site Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Site Engineer incoordinating with sub-contractors and workers over site works, ensuring work done is in accordance with specifications and quality requirements.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Check and study drawings before disseminating information to sub-cons and workers.
• Liaise with respective sub-contractors on work methods and sequencing.
• Coordinate and Monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with contract requirements.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety provision at site working area for sub-cons and workers to carry out tasks.
• Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man-hours returns and coordinate in all aspects of site issues.
• Co-ordinate and monitor the availability and on time delivery of materials / equipment to complete the construction work within schedule.
• Supervision of Subcontractors work and ensure work done in accordance with specification and quality requirements.
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place.

Requirements

• Experience: 3 - 5 years of Building and/or Civil Engineering experience
• Familiar with relevant drawings, specifications and details
• Completed at least 1 building project
