Job summary

Woh Hup Group in Singapore is seeking a Site Superintendent (Architectural) to assist the Project Manager in coordinating with sub-contractors and workers on site architectural and fit-out works, ensuring work complies with specifications and quality standards.

You will oversee progress, monitor workmanship and compliance, review drawings, raise RFIs, and liaise with Archi Coordinators/Consultants to resolve architectural issues.

Qualifications

• Experience 3–5 years in building and/or civil engineering projects.
• Familiar with relevant drawings, specifications and details.
• Completed at least 1 building project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor progress, quality of workmanship and contract compliance.
• Ensure inspections align with the architectural works' inspection and test plan.
• Review construction programs and method statements related to architectural trades.
• Assist in manpower/resource scheduling and daily man-hour returns; coordinate site issues.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and raise RFIs as necessary.
• Liaise with Archi Coordinators/Consultants on architectural issues.

Job description

The Site Superintendent (Architectural) is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in coordinating with sub-contractors and workers over site architectural and fit-out works, ensuring work done is in accordance with specifications and quality requirements.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Coordinate and monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with contract requirements.
• Ensure all inspection activities are carried out in accordance with the inspection & test plan for architectural works.
• Review construction program and method statements related to Architectural Trades.
• Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man-hours returns and coordinate in all aspects of site issues.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and raise RFI’s as necessary.
• Liaise with Archi Coordinators/Consultants on all architectural related issues.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3 – 5 years of Building and/or civil engineering experience
• Familiar with relevant drawings, specifications and details
• Completed at least 1 building project
