Job summary

WANG FENG DEVELOPMENT PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a capable Architect to verify drawings against construction plans and support the Project Manager with technical issues. You will liaise with subcontractors, review submissions, and help maintain timely progress on site.

The ideal candidate has a degree in architecture and at least 3 years of active experience with a main construction firm, with strong drawing interpretation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with a main construction firm.
• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Cross-check architectural and construction drawings to identify discrepancies and report to Project Manager.
• Liaise with subcontractors to ensure works meet design specs and regulations.
• Attend progress meetings to assist Project Manager with technical and drawing issues.
• Monitor and supervise architectural submissions for timely delivery according to site progress.
• Coordinate with site team and consultants to resolve design discrepancies.
• Attend site inspections to ensure works conform to drawings.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform cross checking between architectural drawings & construction drawings for discrepencies and highlight to Project Manager
• Liaise with subcontractors on their works in accordance to design specification and regulations
• Attend progress meeting to assist Project Manager in technical and drawing issues
• Monitor and supervise architectural submissions to ensure smooth and timely delivery according to site progress
• Coordinate with site team and consultants to resolve design discrepencies and issues
• Attend site inspection to ensure works conform to drawing specifications
• Perform all other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture with minimum 3 years’ relevant experience with a main construction firm.
• Strong ability in interpretation of construction drawings
• Meticulous and highly motivated, good interpersonal skills
