Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a seasoned Customer Reliability Engineer to own high-severity incidents end-to-end, from signal to resolution, and to drive proactive reliability across edge, networking, DNS, and security domains.

You will collaborate with Product Engineering and platform teams to build scalable telemetry, detectors, and automation that reduce toil and recurrence while elevating customer trust and product reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on SRE/ESR or equivalent
• Customer-facing engineering experience
• Strong networking and security foundations
• Experience with incident management and postmortems

Responsibilities

• Rapid incident response and root cause analysis across full stack.
• Proactive reliability engineering to identify and mitigate systemic risks.
• Cross-functional partnership with Product and Platform teams.
• Technical leadership and enablement through coaching and runbooks.
• Maintain deep expertise across Cloudflare product portfolio and domains.
