Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to own high‑severity incidents and drive reliability improvements across edge, network and systems. You will work with Product Engineering to implement detectors, tracing, and automation to reduce toil and downtime.

The role requires hands‑on SRE expertise, strong networking/security foundations, and excellent communication to coordinate with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on SRE/esc. engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in networking, security and incident management.
• Proficient in observability tools, logging, metrics and tracing.

Responsibilities

• Lead rapid incident response end‑to‑end, reproduce defects and verify fixes.
• Drive proactive reliability improvements across edge, network, DNS and APIs.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering to build monitoring, detectors and diagnostics.
• Create and publish postmortems and reliability improvements.
• Own cross‑functional escalation lifecycle with clear ownership and timely updates.
