Job summary

SILITH TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is hiring a Customer Quality Engineer to manage feedback from silicon photonics customers, drive root-cause analysis, and coordinate CAPA across PQE, design, and production teams.

The role focuses on translating customer requirements into production standards, performing audits, and ensuring timely responses to prevent recurrences, with a strong emphasis on English and Mandarin communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or related majors.
• Minimum 3 years of CQE work experience in semiconductor or silicon photonics chip industry.
• Familiar with silicon photonics chip performance, production process and quality standards; testing background preferred.
• Strong customer communication, problem analysis and rapid response capabilities.
• Master customer complaint handling process and quality tools (8D, 5Why).
• Able to independently lead closed-loop handling of customer quality issues.
• Good service awareness and pressure resistance; maintain customer relationships.
• Familiar with ISO9001 system; able to liaise with overseas Mandarin-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for customer quality docking and feedback handling; record and track the process and respond timely; decompose FA plans and re-inspect returned chips.
• Lead investigation and analysis of customer complaints; work with PQE and design to identify root causes and implement CAPA.
• Translate customer quality requirements into internal production/testing/inspection links.
• Conduct regular customer follow-up visits; collect feedback and promote continuous improvement.
• Prepare materials and accompany customer quality audits; track non-conformity rectification to pass audits.
• Receive, register, analyze and handle customer returned products; coordinate failure analysis and improvements to avoid recurrence.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
