Job summary

VDL Enabling Technologies Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Customer Quality Specialist to lead quality assurance for assembled semiconductor equipment. You will coordinate with customers, in-house teams, and suppliers to address issues and drive non-conformance closure.

The role requires a diploma/degree in a relevant engineering field, at least 3 years in customer quality management, and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma; CQE is a plus. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Precision/Chemical or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of customer quality management experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing or equivalent.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge; certification is a plus.
• Certified Quality Engineer is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and review with Customers, In-house, and Suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Schedule meetings with the Customer to review and close non-conformance.
• Chair and drive Customer quality CAB meetings to derive root causes and corrective/preventive actions (8D).
• Review root cause using 5-Why, 3-Legged 5-Why, and fishbone diagrams.
• Define and implement an outgoing inspection checklist to ensure products meet customer requirements.
• Compile weekly customer quality reports and monitor quality KPIs.
• Monitor and review FAI of BTP and internal parts to ensure first article meets requirements.
• Support and participate in the company continuous improvement program.
