Clarksons Singapore PTE. LIMITED is seeking an Operations Executive to join the Dry Cargo team in Singapore. You will support shipbrokers, coordinate shipping processes, and ensure timely information flow among charterers, owners and brokers.

The role requires strong English and Mandarin communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced broking environment. Travel may be required, and flexibility to work outside regular hours is valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the shipping process for timely vessel delivery.
• Handle client/operators’ communications, addressing enquiries and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Learn shipping documents, BIMCO terms/clauses, hire statements and facts.
• Understand Dry Cargo - Cape charter parties, contracts, demurrage calculations.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on shipping activities when assigned.
• Consult brokers in anticipation of potential operational matters.
• Perform other ad-hoc operations duties as assigned.
