Job summary

JOBALLY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Operations Executive to oversee end-to-end dry bulk voyages from nomination to completion.

You will coordinate vessel and cargo nominations, laycan, loading and discharge, working with shipowners, charterers, brokers, port agents, surveyors and internal trading teams. The role requires 7+ years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of voyage/time charter and COA operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in dry bulk shipping or physical commodities operations.
• Strong understanding of voyage chartering and COA processes.
• Experience with voyage execution and shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of dry bulk voyages from nomination through completion.

• Handle shipping and trade documentation including B/L, LOI, NOR, SOF and invoices.
• Monitor freight/hire payments, voyage costs and operational P&L.
• Calculate and manage laytime, demurrage and despatch.
• Handle operational issues, claims and exceptions to ensure smooth voyage execution.
• Maintain accurate voyage records and provide timely operational updates.

We are representing an established international commodities trading company seeking an experienced Senior Operations Executive to join its Singapore team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of dry bulk voyages from nomination through completion.
• Coordinate vessel/cargo nominations, laycan, loading and discharge operations.
• Liaise with shipowners, charterers, brokers, port agents, surveyors and internal trading teams.
• Handle shipping and trade documentation including B/L, LOI, NOR, SOF and invoices.
• Monitor freight/hire payments, voyage costs and operational P&L.
• Calculate and manage laytime, demurrage and despatch.
• Handle operational issues, claims and exceptions to ensure smooth voyage execution.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in dry bulk shipping, freight operations or physical commodity trade operations.
• Strong knowledge of Voyage Charter, Time Charter and/or COA operations.
• Hands‑on experience in voyage execution, post‑fixture operations and shipping documentation.
• Good understanding of laytime, demurrage/despatch, B/L and LOI.
• Exposure to metals, minerals, iron ore or other dry bulk commodities is highly advantageous.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Candidates currently based in Singapore with relevant work eligibility preferred.
