Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end shipment process from order issuance to delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers, shipping lines, transporters and freight forwarders.
• Monitor schedules and manage delays, port congestion and disruptions.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping documentation (BLs, invoices, packing lists, COO).
• Process bank documents (letters of credit) to support shipments.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and Incoterms.

Job Summary

Manage end-to-end shipment processes, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with customs regulations while driving cost efficiencies and continuous operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire shipment process from Sales Order and Purchase Order issuance to cargo readiness, shipment dispatch, customs clearance, and final delivery


• Liaise directly with stakeholders, suppliers, shipping lines, transporters, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth shipment execution


• Monitor shipment schedules and proactively manage potential delays, transshipment issues, port congestions, and delivery disruptions


• Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to meet established deadlines


• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of all shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, COO, and other required documents


• Process bank documents such as Letters of Credit promptly to support shipment transactions


• Ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations, trade requirements, import/export permits, and relevant Incoterms


• Handle customer and supplier feedback and complaints professionally to maintain service quality


• Drive cost reduction by continuously reviewing freight costs, transportation rates, and other logistics-related expenses


• Track supplier performance and support initiatives to improve supplier reliability and service quality


• Identify recurring operational issues, investigate root causes, and implement practical corrective measures


• Continuously seek improvement opportunities in cost, time, process, and productivity


• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior

Required competencies and certifications

• Hands-on experience in Letter of Credit preparation and documentation


• Proficient in desktop technologies such as MS Office Excel and Word


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and time-critical environment


• Attention to detail with a procedural mindset


• Minimum Diploma or Degree in any discipline


• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience


• Excellent communication, facilitation, proactive, and teamwork skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle is highly advantageous


• Positive, adaptable, flexible, and eager to learn attitude
