Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in air freight operations, import experience preferred.
• Familiarity with air cargo documentation, customs procedures, and billing processes.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with freight forwarding systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end air freight import operations, ensuring timely receipt, handling, and delivery of cargo.
• Liaise with airlines, customers, ground handlers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders for smooth cargo movement.
• Prepare, process, and verify air waybills, customs clearance documents, billing, and invoices.
• Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to customers and internal teams.
• Handle operational exceptions such as delays, damages, discrepancies, and claims with prompt resolution.
• Ensure compliance with air cargo regulations, SOPs, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to support service excellence.
• Maintain accurate operational records, including shipment details, cargo manifests, and billing information.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing in accordance with rates and services rendered.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices; share insights with the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
