Job summary

ST RECRUITMENT CENTRE on North Bridge Road, Singapore seeks a Logistics/Operations associate with 1–2 years in freight forwarding. The role involves handling import documents, coordinating shipments, and maintaining shipment records to ensure timely delivery.

Fresh-entry candidates are welcome; training will be provided. You will work with internal teams and external providers, using Excel and email to update shipment information while maintaining accuracy.

Qualifications

• Min 1-2 years of related experience in freight forwarding.
• Exposure to transportation or freight forwarding companies.
• Knowledge in consolidated shipment, if any.
• Manage a full set of import documents accurately to support freight forwarding processes.
• Process orders comprehensively, including preparing and handling shipping documentation.
• Coordinate with various departments and logistics service providers to ensure smooth shipment fulfillment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve shipment issues promptly.
• Assist in planning and organizing outgoing shipments to meet delivery schedules.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned to support operational efficiency.
• Use basic Excel skills and email communication to track and update shipment information.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating initiative and attention to detail.
• Apply knowledge of consolidated shipments to optimize freight forwarding operations (preferred skill).
