Job summary

Freight Forwarding MNC is seeking an Ocean Import Executive to manage end-to-end ocean import shipments (FCL/LCL) and monitor vessel schedules with timely customer updates.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, a Diploma or GCE O-Level, familiarity with SAP, and strong MS Office skills; you will coordinate with shipping lines, brokers, and transport providers while handling documentation and billing.

Qualifications

• Experience handling ocean freight imports is required.
• Minimum GCE O-Level or Diploma with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end ocean import shipments (FCL/LCL) from cargo arrival to final delivery.
• Prepare and process import documentation such as Arrival Notices, Delivery Orders, permits, invoices and customs declarations.
• Monitor vessel schedules and shipment status; provide timely updates to customers.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, co-loaders, customs brokers, hauliers and transport providers.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve shipment or operational issues promptly.
• Arrange DO release, trucking, customs clearance and final delivery.
• Prepare customer billing and coordinate on costing or special billing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.
• Provide operational support and backup to team members.

• Based under the Ocean Freight Import Department

• Good team player with the ability to work independently.




• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
