Qualifikationen

• Diploma or degree in Shipping, Maritime Studies, Business, Logistics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in shipping, chartering, ship broking or commercial business development.
• Strong knowledge of the dry bulk and/or general cargo shipping market.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of other Asian languages would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain relationships with shipowners, charterers, cargo interests and industry partners.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in dry bulk and general cargo markets.
• Manage and negotiate commercial and chartering arrangements.
• Monitor market trends, freight rates, cargo flows and competitive activities to support business decisions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and overseas offices to develop shipping solutions and maximize opportunities.
• Prepare commercial proposals, market analysis and business reports.
• Follow up on existing accounts and ensure effective customer relationship management.
• Support the company's business development and long-term commercial strategy.
