About Cognizant Integration and Process Management (IPM) Practice

The Integration and Process Management (IPM) practice focuses on providing Enterprise Integration and Process Automation and Orchestration solutions to enterprises globally. It is one of the largest services practices in the industry, and a key pillar of our Enterprise Platform services. We are seeking a Service Line Specialist to grow our presence in the APJ region.

Summary of Role

Service Line Specialists will be responsible for the service line growth in the region. Service Line Specialists will be driving sales in the region with a good mix of strategic and tactical management experience. They are actively involved in growing the service line’s footprint and assisting the Client Partners to engage with clients and partners with service line opportunities. They will provide deep expertise to support the Client Engagement Team to close new and expansion opportunities with customers.

The specialist will create our sales pipeline, go‑to‑market offerings and expand our stakeholder footprint within the accounts. The individual will work with, and leverage, our consulting, advisory, pre‑sales, technology CoE and solution delivery teams.

Role Responsibilities
  • Create and execute a growth plan in the region involving account teams, practice stakeholders and partners.
  • Ability to craft service offerings and provide thought leadership in the Integration, Process Automation and Orchestration domain.
  • Manage relationship with account and sales stakeholders.
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise to proposal development and overall solution.
  • Lead / support pre‑sales and Business Development activities.
  • Support in identifying opportunities, making proactive proposals to clients in line with account strategy.
  • Active involvement in pursuits to close new and expansion opportunities working closely with Client Leadership Team.
  • Engage with the relevant internal Cognizant teams and service lines team for developing solutions.
  • Validate and review solutions and draft win themes.
  • Engage with Partners to develop sales pipeline.
  • Thriving in an unstructured environment that demands a consultative approach and solutions spanning multiple environments.
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in creating and successfully driving a sales plan with a leading IT Systems Integrator.
  • Expertise in the IT sales lifecycle with hands‑on experience in proposal creation, presentation and deal pursuits.
  • Experience in estimation models and deal pricing.
  • Experience and understanding of middleware tools and technologies; having worked with at least one of the leading orchestration platforms such as Pega, Appian, Outsystems, Mendix.
  • Good understanding of market trends, key shifts, and opportunities.
  • Understanding of business solutions and software engineering processes.
  • Experience in supporting account teams and building collaborative relationships with external and internal partners.
  • Business acumen, communication, and drive for results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual and highly matrixed environment.
  • Cross‑functional IT experience including IT consulting, IT business systems analysis, systems integration, business process re‑engineering, development and implementation of large‑scale systems, technical project management, sales/support, and customer relationships will be an added advantage.
