Job summary

PASONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Service Engineer (Semiconductor) to support our customers in Singapore.

You will process customer work pieces in a Class 1000 cleanroom and perform inspections, dicing/grinding, and data collection to ensure specifications are met. You will discuss technical requirements with customers, manage projects, and coordinate with internal teams in Singapore and Japan. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Hands-on with an eye for detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer work pieces in a Class 1000 cleanroom environment.
• Conduct incoming and outgoing inspection checks.
• Dicing and/or grinding of work pieces on the company's machines.
• Collect measurement data to confirm conformity to specifications.
• Pack customer work pieces accordingly.
• Discuss technical requirements with customers; provide recommendations on processing methods.
• Project management and follow-up of customer enquiries.
• Follow operating procedures and workflows.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders in Singapore and with Japan.
• Suggest improvements to workflows and cost reduction.

Job Description

Responsible for processing customer work pieces according to customer requirements in a Class 1000 cleanroom environment. Processing of work pieces includes the following tasks:

• Conduct incoming and outgoing inspection checks.
• Dicing and/or grinding of work pieces on the company's machines.
• Collect measurement data to confirm conformity to specifications.
• Pack customer work pieces accordingly.

Additional Responsibilities

• Discussion with customers on technical requirements. Provide recommendations on best processing method.
• Project management and follow-up of all customer enquiries.
• Follow operating procedures and work flows.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders within Singapore and with Japan.
• Suggest improvements to work flow and/or ideas for cost reduction.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering field.
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing process and cleanroom environment will be advantageous.
• Hands‑on with an eye for details and great organisational skills.
• Pro‑active with a positive mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Machine training will be provided.
