Job summary

Matic Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer to support semiconductor wafer fabrication customers in Singapore. You will troubleshoot, install, maintain and repair complex equipment in a cleanroom setting, coordinating with customers on schedules and requirements.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical/electrical background with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to travel. Entry-level applicants are welcome; training will be provided to develop domain expertise.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
• Entry-level candidates welcome; training will be provided.
• 2+ years of experience servicing semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment encouraged.
• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; pneumatics, vacuum systems, PLCs or automation a plus.
• Familiar with cleanroom procedures and cleanroom do's & don'ts.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel to customer sites.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, public holidays or standby duties when required.

• Familiar with cleanroom working procedures and understands cleanroom do's and don'ts.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
