Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a technically skilled field service technician to install, maintain and repair semiconductor equipment at One-North Coast, Singapore.

You will diagnose hardware and process issues, support customers to maximise uptime, and work with engineering teams on escalations. The role welcomes candidates from various technical backgrounds, including electrical, mechanical, automation and precision engineering; strong aptitude and willingness to learn are valued as

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, diagrams and specs.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a semiconductor environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of semiconductor equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment, hardware and process-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of semiconductor equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment, hardware and process-related issues.
• Support customers to maximise equipment uptime and performance.
• Participate in technical escalations and work closely with engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
• Follow all safety, quality and operational procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and build strong customer relationships.
• Read and understand engineering documents, diagrams and technical specifications.
• Work in a cleanroom environment when required.

Requirements

We welcome candidates from a variety of technical backgrounds, including:

• Semiconductor equipment maintenance, installation or field service.
• Manufacturing, automation, electronics, aerospace or precision engineering.
• Electrical, mechanical, automation, robotics or industrial equipment servicing.
• Equipment maintenance, troubleshooting or technical servicing.
• Entry-level and non-experienced candidates are welcome to apply, provided you have strong technical aptitude and are willing to learn.
