Job summary

Pasona Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented engineer/technician to process customer work pieces in a Class 1000 cleanroom environment in Tai Seng.

You will handle inspections, dicing, grinding, data collection, and packaging while coordinating with customers and stakeholders in Singapore and Japan. Training will be provided. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing process and cleanroom environment is a plus.
• Hands-on with an eye for details and strong organisational skills.
• Pro-active with a positive mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Machine training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Process customer work pieces in a Class 1000 cleanroom according to customer requirements.
• Conduct incoming and outgoing inspection checks.
• Dicing and/or grinding of work pieces on company machines.
• Collect measurement data to confirm conformity to specifications.
• Pack customer work pieces accordingly and discuss technical requirements with customers.
• Provide recommendations on best processing methods and manage customer inquiries.
• Follow operating procedures and workflows and liaise with Singapore and Japan stakeholders.
• Suggest workflow improvements and cost-reduction ideas.

Job Description

Responsible for processing customer work pieces according to customer requirements in a Class 1000 cleanroom environment. Processing of work pieces includes the following tasks:

• Conduct incoming and outgoing inspection checks.

• Dicing and/ or grinding of work pieces on the company's machines.

• Collect measurement data to confirm conformity to specifications.

• Pack customer work pieces accordingly.

• Discussion with customers on technical requirements. Provide recommendations on best processing method.

• Project management and follow-up of all customer enquiries.

• Follow operating procedures and work flows.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders within Singapore and with Japan.

• Suggest improvements to work flow and/ or ideas for cost reduction.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering field.

• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing process and cleanroom environment will be advantageous.

• Hands-on with an eye for details and great organisational skills.

• Pro-active with a positive mindset.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Machine training will be provided.
