Job summary

REERACOEN SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Service Engineer for the semiconductor sector at our Bendemeer location in Singapore. The role requires hands-on equipment service, installation, and troubleshooting with occasional travel for customer support.

You will respond to technical inquiries, coordinate with internal teams on parts and orders, and quote on spare parts and modifications. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in service engineering for semiconductor or related industries.
• Willing to travel and stay in-country for extended periods as needed.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).

Service Engineer (Semiconductor) (36580)

Location: Bendemeer

Our client is a Chemical manufacturer, and they are currently expanding and are looking for a Service Engineer to join their team!

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned service job (such as equipment service/troubleshooting, installation, de-installation, training, and buy-off).
• Receive & respond to customer verbal & written inquiries on technical matters.
• Coordinate with the internal Sales/Admin team on spare part/machine claims, purchase order matters, and any additional information required by the customer
• Establish the spare part pricing, provide a quotation for spare part/machine/modification/engineering charges.
• Create new processes, work on existing processes & revise them if necessary to make improvements.
• Develop strong customer relations at a technical level.
• Request the Demo machine for maintenance and machine performance, perform preventive maintenance, and manage the machine spare parts.

Requirements & Preferences

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• 1-2 years of experience in a Service Engineering role serving the Semiconductor industry or a similar industry
• Able to travel on short notice, and comfortable staying in the country for extended period of time (For example, in India, for 2-3 weeks for machine support)
• Able to work late and on weekends for ad-hoc support, if there is any need from customers.
• Good technical skills in problem-solving & data analysis, and able to work well in a team.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (listening, speaking, and writing) is essential for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking counterparts
