Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Field Engineer (Semiconductor) to provide on-site technical support and oversee installation, maintenance and repairs of semiconductor equipment at customer sites. The role requires cleanroom experience and strong analytical and communication skills.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering with 2 years of related experience and is willing to travel, including OT/standby duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering required.
• 2 years of experience servicing/maintaining semiconductor equipment.
• Experience in a cleanroom environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support at clients' sites and meet service specifications.
• Perform on-site installation, parts overhaul, preventive maintenance, modifications and repair on equipment.
• Serve as the company contact with customers on administrative and technical matters.
• Respond to customer complaints, provide timelines and reports to resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to clients' sites and achieve the service specification requirements.
• Perform on-site installation, parts' overhaul, preventive maintenance, modifications and repair works on equipment.
• Serves as company point of contact with customer on administrative and technical matters.
• Responds to customers complaints, provides time to solutions to resolve customers issues and provide the documentation/reports.
• Monitors the performance of the product, provide regular update report and feedback on customers service requests.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering with 2 years of experience in servicing/maintaining Semiconductor equipments.
• Experience in a cleanroom environment.
• Good analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills.
• Travel to customer sites, performing OT / Standby duty as the nature of the scopes.
